Job Summary

360 Campaign Consulting is seeking Petitioning Staff to join us on an exciting campaign to qualify a ballot initiative that will increase protections for Oregon’s forest waterways.

Petitioning Staff will collect petition signatures from registered voters and educate the public about the issue. No fundraising is involved in this position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who seeks to protect the environment, create social change, and gain campaign experience.

This is a short-term position, starting ASAP.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Circulating petitions and collecting signatures at high traffic areas across an assigned region
• Performing required reporting tasks in a timely and accurate manner
• Regular and reliable submission of collected materials

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong communication skills, a good work ethic, and a passion for social change
• Ability to work with a team, receive feedback, and work independently
• Previous petitioning, sales, non-profit, customer service, or political campaign experience preferred but not required
• Must be willing and able to approach members of the public in high foot traffic locations
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends

Salary
$17/hr with the opportunity for bonuses
