Job Description: Campaign Manager
Christina Stephenson for House District 33
The campaign to elect Christina Stephenson to Oregon House District 33 is hiring a campaign manager to assist in the 2020 primary election.
Christina is a civil rights attorney and fierce advocate for workers’ rights, the environment, and reproductive choice. In addition to the ability to execute the nuts and bolts of a campaign, the successful applicant will be interested in assisting with bold policy development that prioritizes working families.
Applicants for this position should have a demonstrated commitment to progressive values and a desire to build lasting community relationships, particularly with communities of color.
Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis beginning in the first week of September, after Labor Day, with a starting date of September 16th or October 1st
.
Job Responsibilities:
• Local coordination of daily communication between all members of the campaign team including the candidate, campaign consultants, outreach staff, volunteers, endorsing elected officials, community activists, and others.
• Provide daily staff assistance to the campaign, including calendar management, support at events, and other campaign-related tasks.
• Under direction of the campaign consultant, implementation and oversight of a field campaign operation staffed by canvassing team and volunteers. Field operations may
include volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and training; voter registration; supporter identification through phone banks and precinct walks; vote-by-mail drives; lawn sign
postings; and getting out the vote on election day.

Experience working in a volunteer campaign field operation is helpful.
Salary is negotiable, depending on experience.
